If any citizen is a GSSC citizen and has a valid National ID card issued by the government, then he/she does not need a visa to travel to Oman.  “Some nationalities and residents of GCC countries may avail the ‘Visa on Arrival’ facility wherever applicable.”

Oman Online eVisa Information

The eVisa is an online form of your visa which allows you to immigrate to Oman as a tourist if you belong to an eligible country. Every citizen (except the ones belonging to a GSSC country like Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia) wishing to travel to Oman are required to have a valid tourist visa for Oman.

• Fill in the necessary personal details and passport details in your visa application form
• Submit the necessary documents (a recent digital passport-size photograph, a scanned copy of the information page of passport with a validity of at least 6 months) 
• Pay the fees for your visa application.
• You will receive your visa through your registered email address in PDF format.
• Print a copy of your visa to show it to the immigration officials while checking in at the airport. 
• You can check the status of your application on the online visa application website using your passport number. 

You Can acquire 4 different types of visas (A single entry visa for 10 days or 30 days, a Multiple entry visa for 1 year, or a One-entry visa for 28 days only for the Gssc residents)  according to your requirements. Conditional Visa

For citizens of some specific countries like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc, there is a specific visa called the Conditional Visa. Citizens of these countries need a valid residence permit or a valid visa issued by the UK, Japan, Canada, USA, Australia, or the Schengen Area.

28 Days GCC Visa

All GSSC citizens can easily get a tourist visa for Oman if they submit the following required documents:

• A valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months.
• A recent photograph
• A copy of GSSG resident visa
• GSSC resident Id card as proof for being a GSSC resident.

All the residents of the few more countries are required to have a proper valid residence permit or a valid visa issued by the UK, Japan, Canada, USA, Australia, or the Schengen Area for them to be granted entry in Oman. Without the visa issued by the above-mentioned European countries or a residence permit, the citizens of the following countries will not be allowed to enter Oman. These countries are:
