Bahla pottery is very well known across Oman, despite the fact that traditional techniques of production appear to be diminishing day by day. The clay is sourced from a wadi (river bed). The clay is trampled to make it flexible so that it may be worked on. After the piece has been completed, it is burned in a furnace.

The Bhala usually expects a good and moderate temperature. It is the best place to travel by car.
