These old coral reefs are inclined towards the seawater and the depth is depicted as more than 25 m on the Northside. The south region is covered by large-scale coral reefs and a sandy sea. Various species of birds including Bridled Tern, Common Noddy, Osprey, Bridled Tern, Red-billed Tropicbird, etc.

Around 300 Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata) nests on the beach. Freshwater pearl mussels and lobsters also live in these protected islands.
Tourists can hire a boat to reach their destination, Daymaniyat Islands. The Daymaniyat Islands are 16 to 18 kilometers away from the coast. Additionally, it is also surrounded by shallow seas, therefore tourists will need to book a boat to reach the Islands. Tourists will reach the destination in a maximum of 40 minutes.

Tourists can enjoy this recreational and thrilling activity at Daymaniyat Islands in Oman. Snorkeling is a swimming activity usually done at the surface of the water with the pieces of equipment like a diving mask, swimfins, and snorkel. The Daymaniyat Islands in Oman is the hotspot for this recreational activity. The seagrass beds and the shallow way are the most suggested spots for snorkeling. Tourists can easily find these two spots on the main Daymaniyat Island.
Seagrass beds are situated on the southwest side of the Island. Tourists will love to do Snorkeling in this area. And can also spot green turtles and animals. The shallow bay is situated on the northern side of the main Island. During this action can spot fishes, birds, and healthy coral reefs. Tourists can also visit other snorkeling spots situated in different parts of the Daymaniyat Islands. Tourists can spot whale sharks sometimes.
