1. You need to submit two photographs of the size 6x4 cm
2. Copy of your passport which will be valid for more than 6 months
3. A cover letter which covers the natures and study period of the course
4. A copy of competent authority’s approval for the institution to host a student coming from abroad
5. An original and a copy of the medical certificate for those students who come from the following nations: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Syria, Egypt, Philippines, and Nepal
6. A copy of the signature sheet authorized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry also needs to be attached along with other documents
If even any one of these documents is missing, there’s a chance of visa rejection. The Oman student visa duration is valid for use within 6 months from the date of issue. This visa allows the students to stay in Oman for 1 to 2 years from the date of entry into Oman. The visa renewal can be done for the same period of time if the student visa is due and the student is still studying in the country. This renewal can be done by submitting a cover letter from the educational institution stating that the student is still a part of the institution. This Oman visa is a multi-entry visa.

Located in Halban, Sultanate of Oman, GUtech is a private university with administrative staff strength of 180. This university offers various sectors of education including BSc, MSc, and Bachelor in Technology courses.
3. Ibra College of Technology:
With a position of third in the list of best universities in Oman, this college was established in 2001. The first course offered here was a B. Tech program which was initiated in the year 2003. The students were not categorized based on their race, economic, or social status and were given equal respect and dignity along with the others.
4. Caledonian College of Engineering:
Established in 1996, this college comes under the National University of Science and Technology. This college holds a partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. This college is the only engineering college that has received accreditation from the Oman Academic Accreditation Agency. This college now ranks fourth on the list of best universities in Oman.
5. Al Buraimi University College:
Being the first college in Al Buraimi Governorate, this college was established in the year 2003. This college allowed the students to gain higher education in diverse academic fields and also trained the students to obtain skills that will help them cope with global economic changes. This college now ranks fifth among the best universities in Oman.
